The Tipton Advertiser August 1902

Obituary.
Died at his parents home in Rochester last Sunday night near the hour of eleven o'clock, August 3, 1902, little Arden Lacy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Atkins, aged 2 years, 4 months and 5 days. He had been suffering quite awhile with the whooping cough and was thought to be getting along all right, but only a few days ago he began to grow worse and despite the efforts of loving hands and medical treatment he gradually grew worse until death, which came as a sweet relief from the intense suffering, and angels bore his spirit home to be in peace. The funeral was conducted on the following day at the residence at 2 o'clock, by the undersigned, amid a host of sorrowing relatives and friends. Masters Irvin Spencer, Roy Rehbehn, Charles Morgan and Harry Olson acted as pall bearers. The remains were laid to rest in the Rochester cemetery to await the resection morn. Sympathy to the bereaved.
REV. D. H. BARNWELL.
