Mrs. Edith Casedy of Hickory Twp., Sharpsville, RD 2, widow of Albert Casedy, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at the Mercer County Home and Hospital after an extended illness. She was 74. Mrs. Casedy was born April 16, 1898 in Hickory Twp., to Robert and Delinda Seaburn McDowell. She had been employed at the American Laundry Co., Sharon, until retiring. She was a member of the Clark United Methodist Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Irene) Rankin of DuBois, Pa.; a brother, Robert McDowell of Sharpsville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband died Aug. 26, 1961.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pa. USA
