Edward J. Bogoski, Jr., age 81, of Alger, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan.
Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:00 am. Scott Bogoski will officiate the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Maybee, Michigan.
Born on July 17, 1933 in Exeter Township, Michigan, he was the son of Edward and Anna (Genich) Bogoski. On November 19, 1955 he married Wanda Ramsey in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee, MI.
Edward served in the US Army during the Korean War from 04/09/1953 to 04/08/1955.
He was a Mechanic for Ford Motor Company for 18 years until retiring in 1995 and he also was a Farmer for 40 years.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, son, Joseph, brother, Butch and sister, Joanne.
Surviving is his wife, Wanda Bogoski of Alger, MI, son, Edward T. (Susan) Bogoski of Carleton, daughter, Denise (Charles) Shannon of Loganville, GA, son, Michael Boboski of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Alan Bogoski of Carleton; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
