May 6,1887, her husband's death occurred but in her loneliness she has been comforted by the presence of her children, who have married and settled near the parental home.
Friday afternoon, March 6, all knew that the end was near, and after arranging the matters of her life as best she could she bade her children and grandchildren goodbye and peacefully fell asleep, leaving this testimony that it was all bright and that she was ready to go. She leaves to mourn her death six daughters, one son and twenty-seven grandchildren. the daughters and son are Mary E. Whitlateh, Jemima E. Mark, Anna D.S. Cooley, Letitia J. Sutherland, Arvilia J.
