Naomi (or Neomi or Naoma) was the daughter of Joseph R. and Lettice (Lincoln) Harrison. Her mother's burial information is unknown. Her paternal grandparents were the English immigrant, Lt. Samuel Harrison and Connecticut native, Rebecca (Keeler) Harrison. Her maternal grandparents were Massachusetts natives, Macey Lincoln and Relief (Thayer) Lincoln.

Naomi married Squire Singletery Gale in Brandon, Vermont on Mar. 6, 1834. They had four children, all born in Goshen, Vermont (see links below). Sometime after Squire died in 1848, Naomi married Ruben Allen, whose death and burial information are unknown. They are shown living in Randolph, Wisconsin in the 1860 census.

After her second husband died, Naomi immigrated to California. She is shown living with daughter Columbia Mansur and family in the 1870 census for Camptonville. They and her son George and family moved to Orange County, California in the early 1880s. Daughter Cornelia Phelps and family also then lived in Orange County and are buried close to Naomi's grave in the Santa Ana Cemetery.
