Sharon was born to Thelma Fishburn and James Hazeltine. She attended school in Clarkston.

She married Carroll Autrey in 1953. They had three children, Ed, Starla and Karen.

She married Lee King in 1965. They moved to Illinois immediately following their marriage and spent 13 years there, where she made many close lifelong friends. In 1977, they moved back to Clarkston to be closer to Sharon's family. They had two daughters, Lori and Sheila.

She married Don Hall in 1988. He died in 2005.

She was a homemaker, occasionally taking a job to help make ends meet. She always had a house full of plants, sometimes so many it looked like a jungle. She had a loving soul and always put her family first. She had a real gift of taking care of the elderly, whether, it be her parents, grandparents, other relatives or a friend or stranger. She worked for Senior Chore Service in Clarkston for many years after her children were grown, walking many miles a day as she never had a desire to get a driver's license.

Don and Sharon spent many years living in Elk City after he retired in 1993 and were Arizona snowbirds in the winter.

She was an honorary life member of the Elk City Dust Devils 4-wheeler club.
