Mrs. Philibena (Staley) England , 86 of 421 S. Chauncey Ave., West Lafayette, IN., died at 3:25p.m. Thursday at Leslie Nursing Home, Buck Creek, where she had been a patient since last February. She had been ill a year.
Born in West Lafayette, she was married in 1897 to John Dienhart, he died in 1921. In 1947 she married Jess England, he died last March.
Mrs. England was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Dienhart of Kentland and Edward Dienhart of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Brooks of Indianapolis and Mrs. Marcus Spaulding of this city; two step sons John E. and Jess L. England of Brookston; and two step daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gardner and Mrs Kathleen Teel, both of Brookston, a sister, Mrs. Marie Schrader of West Lafayette.
