Zelma Marie Parrish age 88, of Pleasant View died Thursday, October 9th at Centennial Medical Center of Ashland City.She was born in Nashville on September 15, 1926 to the late John Will and Clara Felts Smith. She worked in Human Services for the State of Tennessee and was a member of Ashland City Church of Christ and 12th Avenue Church of Christ of Nashville, Wings of Hope, & the Senior Citizens of Ashland City.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Parrish; sister, Clara Tunstall; brothers, A.J. and Floyd Smith.
She is survived by three sons, two daughters-in-law, three daughters, two sons-in-law, one sister-in-law, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Oct 11 2014 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham.
