Services have been set at 2 p.m. tomorrow for Mrs. Winifred Hickingbotham, 66, social leader and widow of a jewelry executive who died here yesterday.
Mrs. Hickingbotham came to Oakland in 1906 when her husband, Joseph, joined Shreve and Co. in San Francisco. When he died in 1912, he was vice president of the firm.
A native of New Jersey, Mrs. Hickingbotham in recent years lived quietly at the family home at 714 Walla Vista Ave.
She is survived by two sons, Howard, of Hillsborough, and Joseph C. of San Rafael, both officials of Shreve and Co.
The Albert Brown Mortuary, 3476 Piedmont Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
