ATTICA - Lorene Mae "Winnie" Wright Acord, 64, of Attica, died t 9:58 PM Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. Born in Danville, IL, on Nov. 29, 1930, she had lived in Lafayette until moving to Warren County in 1990. She married Clarence D. Acord on Feb. 15, 1948, in Vermilion Grove, IL; he survives. Mrs. Acord retired in 1993 after working with Wabash Valley Hospital for 25 years.

Also surviving are a son, Darwin Acord of Kokomo; three daughters, Mrs. Sheryl Newkirk of Lafayette, Sandy Frasch of Warren County, and Lisa Thomas of Linden; a brother, Gene Wright of Danville, IL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
