Andy was a likeable little boy with a winning smile. He suffered from epilepsy, but it never stopped him from doing all the things boys love to do. He especially enjoyed fishing. One hot summer day, he was happily playing with friends at the local public swimming pool just 100 yards from his family's home in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It was the last time he was ever seen. A massive search was launched, and a prime suspect, Charles Pierce, was investigated. He has since passed away, but before he did, he confessed to two abductions during the 1970's, one being an unidentified boy from Lawrence, Mass., believed to have been Andy. He claimed to have buried him near another victim, Janice Pockett, but their graves were never found. Pierce had also worked with another pedophile, Wayne Chapman, during the 1970's, whom some police officers considered the top suspect in Andy's demise. He is survived by his parents and brothers. Andy's grave was never found, and this is his only place of remembrance.

Note: One of Andy's childhood friends, Melanie Perkins, is now a filmmaker and is producing a documentary about his case.
