Gerald D. Zachary, 73, died at 5 PM Saturday [Jan. 10, 1987] in Comfort and Retirement Nursing Home, where he had been a resident for six years. Born May 5, 1913, at Crawfordsville, he had lived in Lafayette the past 20 years.
Mr. Zachary was a night-watchman at the former National Homes Corp. for 28 years. Surviving are two brothers, Fred Zachary and Jesse Zachary; and a sister, Marcella Hunt, all of Crawfordsville.
