Lou Abbagliato, 78, of The Villages, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born June 16, 1936 in the Bronx, New York, and later moved to Fairless Hills, PA before retiring to The Villages. During his time in The Villages, he made many friends and loved to walk, ride his bike and play pool. Lou worked on Wall Street for more than 40 years at which time he earned more licenses than any other employee on the floor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He survived by his wife Dolores; daughters Susan, Leslie and Janice; and grandson's Ethan and Noah. Visitation will be held for family and friends from 3-6 p.m., on Sunday September 21, 2014 at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., on Monday September 22, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 or The American Cancer Society.
