Ida was the fifth daughter of Simon Monroe and Martha Magdaline Killen Griffith of LeFlore County, Ok. Simon and Martha had a trading post in LeFlore Co., and he was the first Postmaster. Monroe, OK was named after her father Simon Monroe. Martha is reported to be full blood Choctaw and taught English to fellow Native Americans. Her daughter Martha Magdaline Tucker is shown to be 1/4th Choctaw on the Dawes roles. Ida is listed on the 1940 census with Thomas. No death date is known at this time. She was alive in 1942.

She was married to Thomas Benjamin Wall (1881-1960).
