Ulysses is the gr gr gr grandson of William Alexander, Rev War Vet, 1752 Virginia - 1831 Kentucky.

Ulysses C. "Buck" Medley, 80, of North College Street, died at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. he was the son of the late William and Laura Beatley Medley. He was the widower of Neoma Lee Medley. He was a retired Cummins Airport and Ellis Brothers Garage mechanic, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; enlisting on 9 Mar 1943 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana.

Survivors include: one brother, Ben F. Medley, Harrodsburg; four sisters, Elsie Riley, Harrodsburg, Ann Hollingsworth, Pine Alls, FL, Mary A. Elliott and Judy B. Riley, both of Lexington. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William V. Medley Jr. and Robert Elbert Medley.

Graveside services were held at Spring Hill Cemetery with Bro. James Harley officiating.
