Gladys Dressander Spitler received her BA Degree from Central Michigan University and was the music director at Petoskey High School until her marriage to Dr. Carl H. Spitler the long time Superintendent of the Petoskey Public Schools. Mrs. Spitler was a soloist and active in choir of the First Presbyterian Church. She is responsible for planning, planting gardens throughout the city and served in an executive capacity on many committees in the community. She was survived by her two sons, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dr. Spitler preceded her in death. The biography of Mrs. Spitler will appear here soon.
