Directly after World War II Earl and his bride, Patty, lived in Ft. Worth, TX where he worked for American Airlines as a co-pilot. By 1960 he was a pilot for the same company before he retired in 1980.

He married Harriet Jane (Foster) Ford in March of 1989. There is not a page for her on this website as of April 2015. Earl and Harriet both died in their Tyler, TX home on the same day.
