Born in Canning, Nova Scotia, Mrs. Freeman came with her husband to Edmonton in 1897 and served with him in the work of the Baptist churches for nearly 30 years, in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
In 1923, she moved to Ontario where she served in various Baptist churches.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Dr. Alexander, Calgary, and Mrs. Olive Palmer, Owen Sound; three sons, Professor H. A. Freeman, of McMaster University, Hamilton, Ont.; A. M. Freeman, London, Ont., and Dr. H. D. Freeman, of Morrison. Ont.; three brothers, Dr. L. E., and Dr. E. B. Eaton, both at Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and R. Eaton, at Canning, NS.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the Foster and Foster chapel today at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. J. E. Harris officiating. Interment will be in Burnsland cemetery. Gooder Brothers are in charge of arrangements.
