She was such a good girl, and she enjoyed traveling. She went on more than one family vacation to Blue Ridge, Georgia. Every morning when she was at home she would do her part and go out to get the paper in the front yard.
Her favorite time of the year was Christmas because she always knew she would get a present, and it came right after her birthday. She would celebrate any special occasion because she knew there was never a shortage of treats.
Kevin was the best at wrestling and giving her the royal treatment, but Melissa was good at giving her pedicures, taking her swimming and she slept in her room at night. Dixie loved them both.
Jeff spoiled her the most, and she would bark looking for him when he went out to the garage. He would also make sure she had ice to eat. Paula doted on her just as much, she even put house shoes on her once because she thought her feet were cold....she was surely one loved pup, and she just had the best life ever with the best family.
Dixie is survived by her loving parents Jeff and Paula Hoyt, brother Kevin Carter and sister Melissa Hoyt. Grandparents George and Katie Hamilton, and a number of other relatives and friend.
Dixie lived longer than any of her 12 siblings. She was one of a kind.
On September 12, 2014 she walked across the rainbow bridge.
Rest in peace sweet girl,
you sure do deserve it.
You sure will be missed.
You sure were loved!
