Sandra Elaine Phillips Haney, age 49, of Dallas, Ge0rgia. passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2001. at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was born on June 30, 1952 in Paulding County,
daughter of the late John Thomas Phillips and Ruth Whitley Phillips. She was an Accountant for Investment
Corporation and a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ruth Phillips of Dallas; daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Neil (Iva) Haney of Birmingham, AL; sister, Mr. and Mrs. Steve
(June) Atcheson of Dallas; 1
grandson, Thomas Fisher of Birmingham; niece, Cynthie
Hardy of Dallas and nephew, Rodney Atcheson of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Haney, who passed away in 1997 and father, John Thomas Phillips.
Funeral Services were held
on Saturday, October 27, 2001
at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Darrin Cochran officiating. Special music was rendered by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden.
Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jackie Bickers, Jody Bickers, Wesley Cowan, Horace Cochran, Jr., Nick Easterwood and Jerry Ford.
