Singer. One of Sweden's most popular singers, he released his first album in 1963, and through his career there was 13 more to come. He made his name as an interpreter of the songs by Swedish national poet Carl Michael Bellman. His most successful song was "Jag ger dig min morgon", a Swedish version of Tom Paxton's "I give you the morning". He is father of famous singer Cajsa-Stina Åkerström.
