Pvt R H Abbay was present for muster at Camp Cumings, TN, on 19 Sep 1861. A subsequent, undated report stated that he had applied for discharge, unfit for duty. Additional searches for military records under "Abbay" "Abbey" "Abbe" and "Abby" returned no additional information.
