ADEL - Funeral services for Wiley Bennett, 77, Lowndes County farmer who died Sunday at the home of a sister here, were to be held this afternoon at Long Bridge Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lula Relison, Jacksonville; Mrs. Ann Castille, Moultrie; two sons, Henry Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Valdosta; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Ray, Adel; Mrs. Etta Coon, Jacksonville; Mrs. Arlie Chadwick, Hahira and Mrs. Rosa Wilson, Atlanta and two brothers, Joe Bennett, Plant City, Fla., and H.M. Bennett, Tampa. Three elders of the Primitive Baptist Church will officiate. They are Elder Duncan McCranie, Elder Cy Vickery, and Elder Sam Crews. Mr. Bennett, a native Georgian, had lived in the Hahira section of Lowndes for about 10 years before he was stricken ill. Wiseman Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
