Henry Lee Albright of Metairie, La. died on Wednesday, 10-31-2001, at 11:45 P.M., at 75 years of age.
He was the beloved husband of the former Frances Tierney of Somerville, MA and father of Dr. Anthony Albright of Covington, LA and Ashley Albright of New Orleans. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. George B. Albright, Sr.; brother of the late George B. Albright, Jr.; uncle of Dr. George B. Albright, III of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Zachary, Spencer and Julia Albright of Covington.
Mr. Albright, a native Of Salisbury, NC, was a retired District Manager of the American Express Company. After serving with The US Second Army in WWII, he graduated from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC in 1950.
Prior to moving to New Orleans in 1969, he served in management positions with American Express in Bombay, Paris and New York.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Burial Office on Saturday, 11-3-2001, at 3:30 PM at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 3412 Haring Road, Metairie, LA 70006.
Visitation will be on Saturday, 11-3-2001, from 1:30 PM until the time of the service at the church.
Burial will be private at Lake Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests donations be made to The Memorial Fund at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 3412 Haring Road, Metairie, La. 70006. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
