Maxine was born November 10, 1938 in Geneseo, the daughter of John and Esther (Causemaker) Kleckner.
She married Vernon R. Adkins on October 3, 1959 in Annawan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Duane, John and Don and her sister, Carol Young.
She worked in nursing for 50 years and at Kewanee Hospital for 35 of those years.
Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date.
