Herman T. Noles, 65, of Satsuma, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness.

He was a native of Douglas, Ga., and had lived in Putnam County for over 60 years. Herman was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served in Vietnam and was a member of Bostwick Baptist Church. He had worked as a meat cutter at Publix and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Dyess.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Linda Stuckey Noles, of Satsuma, son, William Noles, daughters, Joyce Stevens and husband Rick, Connie Hall and husband Sam, Michelle Williams and husband Mike and Mary Kay Cribbs and husband Anthony, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at Bostwick Cemetery with Bro. David Eddins officiating.
