Ann was a 1954 graduate of Camden High School. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church for more than fifty years. She devoted her entire life to loving her husband, her children, and being the world’s greatest nanna.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to all of Mrs. Smith’s caregivers and nurses at East Texas Medical Center, and our deepest thanks to Dr. Jivesh Sharma, Dr. Ketan Paul, Dr. Stasha Gominack, and Dr. Craig Gunter for their compassion throughout Mrs. Smith’s illness and at the end of Mrs. Smith’s life.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday. Services will be 10:00 Wednesday at Hillside Baptist Church followed by interment at Bethesda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 745 Fairview Road, Camden, AR 71701, attn: Sammy Briery or to your favorite charity.
