He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane; daughters, Shelby Tudor and husband Ed of Bradenton, Fla., Lesley Leonard and grandson Logan of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by a brother, William Dobbins of Christiansburg; niece, Cheryl Hudgins and husband George of Christiansburg; and three great-nephews.
To celebrate Jerry's life, a gathering of friends and relatives will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at King's Grant Baptist Church, 873 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach, at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association, Virginia Regional Office, 2807 N. Parham Road, Suite 101, Richmond, VA 23294.
