Fitzhugh Lee Warren, born July 10, 1923, in Danville, VA, left this Earth to be with our Heavenly Father on July 15, 2008.

Survived by his wife, Barbara J. Warren; three daughters, Tammy Thompson and husband, Greg, Nelda Warren and Casey Lykins and husband Steve; two sons, James Brown and Lee Warren III; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great grand nieces and nephews, and his beloved sisters-in-law, Judy Bacle, DeeDee Cruthers and Gail Facenda; a brother-in-law, David Greer and wife Barbara.

He was part of the Army Air Corp. After his plane went down, Lee was a POW in WWII in Hamburg, Germany for 18 months. Lee enjoyed his monthly meetings with fellow ex POW's.

He was a beloved member of Kings Grant Baptist Church. He didn't know a stranger, if you met him you loved him. He will be sadly missed by all. He is looking down on us and protecting his loved one's.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 18, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, and a service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Kings Grant Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA.
