Funeral services for John TeSlaa, 75, of Hull will be held today (Wednesday) at 10:30 a.m., at the First Christian Reformed Church. Pastor Marvin Heyboer will officiate. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home of Hull. Mr. TeSlaa died Sunday at his home.

John TeSlaa was born Nov. 25, 1908 in The Netherlands. On April 18, 1930, he was married to Jeanette Westra at Orange City. The couple farmed southwest of Hull until 1933, when they moved to Hull. Mr. TeSlaa operated a trucking service at Hull until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church and served on the Consistory as an elder and deacon.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John; three daughters, Hendrene, Joan & Julene; four sisters; Cynthia (Mrs. Peter) Krose; Minnie (Mrs. William) Kroese and Reka TeSlaa, all of Hull, and Hannah (Mrs. Marinus) Mouw of Ontario, Calif; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
