Shreveport, LA – Mr. A. D. Chitty, 85, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014. A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, in the Chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Crawford Williams. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the North West Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Chitty was a retired as a SMSGT (USAF) on February 1, 1972.
Mr. Chitty was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Chitty and father, Audie D. Chitty; sister, Glenda Chitty Tillman; and brother, Don Chitty. He is survived by his wife, Tommie Lou Green Chitty; son, Leslie Stuart Chitty and his wife, Leslie; grandson, Caleb Chitty; and granddaughters, Kristen Caudillo and Kori Smith. He is also survived by his brother, Billy Wayne Chitty and sister, Winona Kirkland.
