NORVELL, Rev. Donald R. Age 78, of Centerville passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. Rev. Norvell was founder, and Pastor of Centerville Christian Assembly, retiring in 1988 after serving for 27 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of America, the Full Gospel Business Men's Association, the Independent Pentecostal Ministerial Association and the Local #79 Insulator Union. Rev. Norvell was preceded in death by his parents, Chester M. and Etta Norvell and brothers, Robert and Willard Norvell. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Alberta C. (Chrisman) Norvell; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda (Richard) Sheley of Beavercreek and Sandy (Rev. Lamont) Carroll of Centerville; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Debbie) Norvell of Xenia, Jonathan (Lisa) Norvell of Beavercreek and Daniel (Stephanie) Norvell of Independence, KY; 9 grandchildren, Jessica (Vernon), Dereck, Jordan, Evan, Samuel, Lindsey, Conner, and Joshua; 3 great-grandchildren, Austin, Kaitlin and Caleb; 3 brothers, Homer of Zanesville, Alfred of Trotwood and Earl Norvell of West Carrollton; and 5 sisters, Frances Orrill of Centerville, Mary Bicknell of Lenoir City, TN, Marie McGowan of Lenoir City, TN, Devonna Rose of Centerville and Shirley Angel of West Carrollton. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, 10:00 AM, February 8, 2005 at Christ Life Sanctuary Church, 4555 Marshall Rd., Kettering, with Pastor Fred Wilson officiating. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
