Richard Fair Harmon was my dad. He was born in Superior, Wisconsin and raised on his family's farm for most of his life. He met my mother in their senior year of high school and if I recall correctly, they met at a barn dance. They married shortly thereafter, on August 4, 1951. To this union, seven children were born (4 boys/3 girls). My folks moved to Los Angeles in 1953 where they raised us kids. Growing up on a farm, my dad had a love of tractors, farming machines and motorcycles; pretty much anything that had an engine in it! My dad loved to fish and he sure enjoyed his grandchildren. My dad died of complications from pneumonia at the age of 63 with family all around him to send him off to heaven. He is deeply missed!!!!
