Brannon was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was a 1997 graduate of Pisgah High School. He received his Associate Degree in Phlebotomy from Haywood Community College and had been employed by the American Red Cross and the Plasma Center in Asheville. He was an avid swimmer, a talented creative writer and rock collector. Brannon was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church and especially enjoyed reading his Bible and was known as a true Bible scholar. He will be dearly missed by all his family and everyone who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Beaverdam Baptist Church. Reverend Gene Worley and Reverend Jimmy Trantham will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
