Art Treloar was a Coach and Athletic Director at Petoskey High School for over 43 years. He taught Industrial Arts from 1922 to 1968. He was instrumental in the late 1920s in building Curtis Football Field and the gymnasium that connected Central School and the original Petoskey High School located at Howard, State and Grove Streets. Throughout his career he received a number of prestigious awards. Mr. Treloar was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club in Petoskey, Michigan. He was active in the Petoskey Historical Society, and was the former president of the Camp Daggett Board of Directors.
