Peggy Elizabeth Hare, 66, of the 6400 block of Crescent Way, passed away June 7, 2005, in her home.

A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William Howard and Lillian Keith, and the widow of Robert Bruce Hare. She was a former Real Estate Broker.

She is survived by her four daughters, Karen L. Claypool and husband Thomas of Norfolk, VA, Laura S. Robertson and husband Roger of Suffolk, VA, Linda S. Hitt and husband David of Virginia Beach, VA and Elizabeth A. St. John of Norfolk, VA; her mother, Lillian Lee Keith of Birmingham, AL; and a sister, Judith Brashier of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Joshua Claypool of Washington DC, Brandon Robertson of Suffolk, VA and Christopher Hitt of Virginia Beach, VA.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park with Rev. Thomas Becker officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association.
