Audrey Mahl Abadie, age 88, passed away in her sleep on February 6, 2014.
She was born on April 10, 1925, a native of Jefferson, LA and a 45 year resident of Metairie, LA.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Martin Abadie (Pete). Preceded in death by her son, Edward Martin Abadie, Jr. (Janie Oberschmidt Abadie) and her daughter, Leah Abadie Faurie (Larry Faurie, Sr.). She is survived by three sons: Rodney Abadie (Patsy Ward), John J. Abadie (Beth Newcomb Abadie) and Donald W. Abadie; ten grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
