Joe J. Bailey passed away peacefully on June 21, 2014. He is survived by Janet, his loving wife of 61 years; his niece Fynacie Johnson of Redwood City, and through marriage several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Oklahoma where he entered the U.S. Navy, in which he served from 1948-1952. Joe and Janet met in Massachusetts and subsequently migrated to California where they married in 1953. He was employed by, and retired from Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. in 1988. Private services were at the Sacramento Valley V.A., National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
