A funeral mass for Kathleen V. Nogueras, who went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2011, will be 8:30 am on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4550 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. The viewing will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm with a prayer vigil service at 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. Mrs. Nogueras was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved here in 1989 from Valley Stream, New York. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange. She was a retired bookkeeper and loved playing cards with her friends, entertaining, ceramics and gardening. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, George Nogueras. Mrs. Nogueras leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, son, Bobby (Lisa) Polakowski, Massachusetts, daughter, Joy (Bashir) Alvi, New York, son, George Nogueras, Queens, N.Y., son, Jerry (Nancy) Nogueras, Port Orange, FL, daughter, Yolanda (Joe) Sullivan, DeLand, FL and daughter, Maria Nogueras, N.Y.; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
