According to her Oklahoma death certificate, Viva passed away in Grady County on April 24, 1935, not Marlow, Stephens County, OK.

Viva Mae Brannon was born May 29th 1903 in Lincoln County, New Mexico and departed this life 27 April 1935.
She leaves to morn her loss, her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart of Marlow, Oklahoma and two brothers H. C. Brannon of Tularosa New Mexico and T. R. Brannon of Marlow, Okla; and two sisters, Norma Hardwick of Claud Okla., and Edrie Stinnett of Marlow, Okla., Two Step-sisters, Mrs. Harvey Verner of Marlow, Okla., and Mrs. Lottie Powell of Randlett, Okla., and a host relative and of friends.
Her father, Thomas R. Brannon and one brother Leslie E. Brannon preceded her i death. She was laid to rest in the Woodlawn cemetery. The funeral arrangements were made by the Simons Funeral Home of Rush Springs, Okla.
Six years ago she was converted and became a member of the Methodist church and remained a member until her death.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. McKeever of Marlow Okla. and Rev; Duke, also a resident of Marlow Okla.
The pall bearers were Lynn Thomasson, Sam Peters, Wallace Owens, Homer Wooley, and James Kirkes.
