Ashton J. Twibell went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2014 just 1 week shy of his 5th birthday. He was born July 21, 2009 in Springfield MO to Danielle Collins and Patrick Twibell.

Ashton was the most precious, loving son, grandson, and nephew one could ever have. He had the sweetest disposition and was always quick to offer the best hugs and kisses. He loved running and playing in Springfield parks, especially hiking with newly made friends in Sequiota Park. He enjoyed taking swimming lessons and playing in the water. He loved printing messages signed with his name on papers he delivered to family and friends. He was becoming a skilled ping pong player, able to serve either left or right handed.

Survivors include his mother, Danielle Collins, his father and step mother Patrick and Heather Twibell, grandparents Jim and Kathy Twibell, Don and Lisa Lee, Jeff and Nancy Simpson, great grandparents Gene and Wilma Caldwell, Vi Twibell, and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Ashton's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17th at Greenlawn East Funeral Home with Dr. Daniel Chisholm officiating. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Interment will be at Rivermonte Cemetery in Springfield. The family requests the foregoing of black attire for blue as it was Ashton's favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Ashton J. Twibell to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
