Reuben H. Childers
La Crosse, Wis. - Reuben H. Childers, 78, of Miami, Fla., formerly of Dubuque, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital here.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Asbury Methodist Church here, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery here. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Sletten-McKee-Hanson Funeral Home here.
Mr. Childers taught at Dubuque Senior High School for 26 years until his retirement in 1965.
He was a member of the American Legion, the International Order of Odd Fellows, and the Knights of Pythias in Dubuque.
Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Grabhorn, two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) Hableman of Tomah, Wis.
