Leonard B. Arbour, 92, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at a local hospital. Leonard was born June 24, 1913, in Waubaushene, Ontario, Canada, to the late Merrill and Georgina (Bazinet) Arbour.

He worked eight years sailing the Great Lakes for the Canadian Steamship Lines and later was employed as a Stationary Engineer at St. Augustine's Seminary in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to serving in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Petty Officer during World War II, he was employed at Munitions plants in Niagara Falls and Nobel, Ontario .

Leonard married Mary Vermote on November 27, 1945, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Perkins, Michigan. Leonard and his wife moved to Green Bay in 1947. He was a member of Annunciation Parish where he served as an usher and was a member of the church and grounds committee. He was employed by Wisconsin Public Service Corporation from 1947 until his retirement in 1977. Leonard owned and operated the Arbour Landscape Service. Since his retirement, Leonard was active in Volunteer Services to the elderly and enjoyed traveling, cards and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and his wife spent their winters in North Fort Meyers, Florida, since 1979.
