South Otselic-Joseph H. Clough, 85, died at the Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, May 14. He was born Nov. 2, 1882, in Springport, Michigan and had been a resident of South Otselic for the past 27 years, where he had been employed by the Gladding Corp. He retired 20 years ago. Prior to this he had operated a farm in Cincinnatus for over 30 years. His wife, the former Blanche S. Hull preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Clough of East Freetown, Ralph of Cincinnatus and Joseph of Albany; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Baldwin of Cincinnatus and Miss Ruth Clough of South Otselic; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Clough had been a member of the Otselic Valley Grange, 13989 for 25 years. He also was past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Cincinnatus. Funeral Serivices will be held at the Houk Funeral Home in South Otselic, Friday, May 17 at 2 p.m., the Rev. William Walters officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in South Otselic.
