Funeral services were held for Gene Doyal on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 2pm at the Chapel of J. Hoyt Thomas Funeral Home, Villa Rica. Dr. Gene Rainwater and Dr. Greg Towler officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Ken Blair, Kenneth Ellers, Mac Hembree, TK Rainey, John Daniel and Tony Chambers.
He was a Veteran having served during World War II in the U S Navy. He was the owner and operator of Villa Rica Hosiery Mill located in the Fullerville community.
He was survived by his wife Robyn Doyal and two daughters Pam Bruce and Jane Vandiver. He was predeceased by a daughter, Robyn Ann Doyal Smith.
