Heaven is a little brighter today as our beloved Kimberly went to be with her Lord. Kimberly fought the good battle against cancer for two years. Her motto had been I have cancer, I'll fight and I'll win, and she did win a place in Heaven. She was born May 8, 1965, to Lois (Posey) Gallihugh and the late Doral Gallihugh. She was God's special angel. Anyone who met Kim was truly blessed. To know her was to love her. She loved music, going to church, going to her family's ball game and to the lake. Kimberly is survived by her mother, Lois; brother, Mark (Deb) Gallihugh; sister, Karen (Charles) Leath; grandmother, Gladys Gallihugh; uncles, Lorian (Jill) Gallihugh, Kerry (Jan) Posey and Kevin (Lois) Posey; aunts, Vivian Merryman, Patsy (Jerry) Raymond, Laurel (Jerry) Cardwell, Linda (Bill) Costanza and Leann Posey; nephews, Casey (Brittney) Leath, Cody Leath, Brier Gallihugh, Austyn Gallihugh; niece, Cheyenne Leath; great-niece, Charleigh Leath; and by many cousins. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Doral, in 2000; by her grandparents, Luther Gallihugh, and Grant and Leona Posey; and by a nephew, Garrett Gallihugh. Funeral services for Kimberly took place at 11 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2013, from the Floyd Church of God. Pastor Bill Caroffino officiated.
