Tahnee Arkansas, 21, of the Yellowhill Community of Cherokee, NC passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2014 at Mission Hospital.

Tahnee is the daughter of Michelle "Biddie" Bradley Wesley and Wendell Bryan Wesley. Tahnee also leaves behind two sisters, Emra Kate Arkansas and Nonah Zae and husband Seth Millsaps; one brother, Philip "Perry" Arkansas; nephew Keagan Patrick and a niece, Nola Brooke. Also, a countless number of extended family and friends.

Tahnee is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Liz Bigmeat Jackson, Philip Arkansas, Lillian Kate Sneed Arkansas, Shon Bradley and Lille Mae Stanley Bradley; great aunt Melba Arkansas Saunooke.

A visitation was held on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at the Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center (Cherokee High School) from 5pm-12am (midnight). There were approximately 1,200 visitors for her visitation.

The funeral service was held on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at the Cherokee Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints starting at 2pm. There were an estimated 500 people who were in attendance. She made an impact on a huge number of children and adults. They all loved her and made it obvious by so many attending her services.

Pall Bearers include Troy Arch, Earl Martin, Buster Arch, Buddy Arch, Jasper Knighton, Christian Crowe and honorary pall bearers Philip Brandon Saunooke, Joshua Herrell Saunooke and Max Hawke Saunooke and Josh Taylor.

Bishop Dan Cutler officiated.

Burial is in the Tahnee Memorial Cemetery above her family's home in Cherokee.
