Winamac --- Kathryn Mary Fenters, 86, of 619 S. Burson St., died at 9:26 p.m. Friday in Pulaski Health Care Center.

Born April 7, 1906, in Pulaski, she was the daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Mary Susan Elmerick Shorter. On Feb. 4, 1930, in San Pierre, she married Thomas E. Nicolas, who died Sept. 25, 1952. On Nov. 14, 1953, in Medaryville, she was married to Harold E. Fenters, who died Nov. 4, 1966.

Mrs. Fenters was a seamtress at the Medaryville Garment Factory, retiring in 1957. She was also the former owner of the Redwood Inn.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Four brothers and three sisters preceded in death.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bert Woolson officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday after 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Frain mortuary, where a rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a scriptural wake service.
