Melvin proudly served his country as a US Navy Seabee. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed reading, especially his Bible.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hunt Driggers; sons, Alan Michael and Michael Alan Driggers.
He is survived by his daughter, Ollie Gregory.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 am at Maypop Cemetery, Lafayette County, Florida, with Pastor R. J. York officiating.
