Mrs. Lillie Williams McCulloch died March 31, at her home in Hastings, after an illness of several weeks. Death came just three weeks prior to her 80th birthday. Dr. Fay C. Mills, pastor of First Methodist Church in Hastings, officiated at service Saturday, April 2, 2 p.m., at the Livingston-Butler-Volland Chapel. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery.
Mrs. McCulloch, widow of James H. McCulloch, had resided in Nebraska all her life. She was born in Schuyler, daughter of William H. and Theresa Williams, and had made Hastings her home since 1911. Since her husband's death she has made her home with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Meisenbach of Hastings.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Meisenbach; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother, John W. Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. V. H. Smatlan of Schuyler, and two nephews.
Mrs. J. E. Smatlan and daughter, Miss Erma, E. B. Smatlan and Mrs. E. E. Smatlan, the latter of Columbus, attended the services. Mrs. V. H. Smatlan had been in Hastings the past seven weeks aiding in the care of her sister.
